HOW TO MAKE
1. Fold the fabric length wise with the rightside together.
2. Mark 11" Length and 5" width and shape from bottom line
3. Take strap 50" length and Width 5" (Red material and Stiff)
4. Make any Applique design on fabric
5. Take 6 pieces( bag material,Lining ,stiff)
6. Three pieces stitch together separately (Bag material,Stiff,Lining)

After finishing the strap to make 3 small bows for Bags Beauty.

" International women's day" in association with Ernakulam District Industries Center.
We celebrated " International women's day" in association with Ernakulam District Industries Center on 8th March 2014.
Programme was conducted in district industrial office Hall at Ernakulam.
85 ladies, who are into garment business, participated in this programme.
Programme was presided over, the distict industial centre Manager Dr. K.G. Geetha.
The function was inaguarated by Mrs. NISHANTHINI. I P S (Deputy police Commissioner,Cochin city).

Young at 72
Be happy always ! You will forget your age. This is advice
of Mrs. Yamuna Bhai still young at the age of 72. If you are engaged in certain
duties, you will not be aware of age and time passing by. Old age will become a burden only when you
sit idle.
Yamuna Bhai who has retired from Statistical department is
remaining young by mending life in a beautiful way.
Sewing Machine is her companion. ‘A friend always close to her’. The machine would be with her even when she
goes to her chidlren’s house. She always had a craze towards stitching. After retirement , this interest had
enhanced. She decided to spend ample
time for stitching.
She passed diploma in sewing from USHA school near stadium
(Jawaharlal Nehru International stadium, Kaloor in Ernakulam). She did not choose sewing just for
hobby. She had found time after
completing her house hold activities and taking care of her bed-ridden husband.
Her other hobbies are making of carpets, cushion covers, embroidery, crochet. She is also giving training for students on cutting and embroidery work
at home. She is proceeding with her
sewing work easily when people of her
age find difficult even to thread a needle.
Her daughter Nanda certifies that
there is another secret for her success.
Her mother’s acquaintance . While mingling with them, one will come to
know of new things. Nanda says that her friends are more close to her mother.
